Port Blair, Aug 10: Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh welcomes the steps for extending the benefit of 1/30th of Pay plus DA to all DRMs from 22nd Sept. 2017 by issuance of Admn.’s Order no. 2276 dt. 10.08.2023. It will bring equality among all working class who are delivering the same set of services.
The perception of Govt. of India towards the working class has changed after 2014 and with sensitivity it handled the requirement of the working class by granting approval to the policy decision of granting 1/30th of Pay plus DA to the working DRMs against vacant posts vide Admn.’s circular no. 289 dt. 22.09.2017 and Admn’s order no. 2276 dt. 10.08.2023 is the inclusion of all working DRMs which directly or indirectly will enhance the economy of our Islands and directly more than 4000 DRMs.
ANRKM express gratitude towards the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands, Chief Secretary, A & N Administration for the noble and landmark steps towards the best interest of working class. The inclusion of left out DRMs since Sept. 2017 was a policy decision to enhance the economic condition of the working class.
