Port Blair, July 27: The passengers have been informed that due to technical reasons the scheduled sailing programme of the vessel MV Dering for Diglipur via Mayabunder on July 29 at 1900 hrs from Port Blair and her return voyage on July 30 at 1230 hrs from Diglipur to Port Blair via Mayabunder has been cancelled. However, in place of MV Dering the Directorate had scheduled following sailing programme for Diglipur and Mayabunder.
Accordingly, MV Long Island will sail for Diglipur on July 30 at 0700 hrs from Phoenix Bay Jetty and will sail back to Port Blair on July 31 at 0700 hrs from Diglipur. Similarly, the vessel Sindhu will sail for Mayabunder on July 31 at 0800 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on Aug. 1 at 0800 hrs from Mayabunder.
Passengers those who have purchased their tickets for the sailings of MV Dering are advised to avail the sailing of MV Long Island & Sindhu with the same ticket by paying difference of fare amount to the Tally Clerk before boarding the vessel.
Passenger tickets for the above sailings will be issued to the general public from July 28 onwards. Passengers may book their tickets from DSS e-ticketing portal (https://dss.andaman.gov.in/ShipETicketingWeb/Login.jsp) on all days from 9 AM to 4 PM and from STARS Ticketing Counter in all working days from 9 AM to 4 PM, except on Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM.
