Car Nicobar, July 20: The Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank Ltd., has launched Mobile Demo Van services “Go Digital Go Cashless” on 19th July, 2023 at Community Hall, Big LapathyVilage, Car Nicobar at 11:00 AM by Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Hon’ble Member of Parliament in august presence of Smti. Archana Singh, General Manager, NABARD, Shri. LionaldNicomede, Chief Captian, Car Nicobar, Shri. Reginald Watchful, Vice Chief Captain, Car Nicobar, Shri. K Murugan, Managing Director, ANSCB Ltd., all HODs of Govt. department, Tribal Council members and Bank officials attended the programme.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Hon’ble Member of Parliament. A large gathering of villagers along with their family members from various areas of Car Nicobar and Bank Officials were attended.
Welcoming the gathering, Shri. K Murugan, Managing Director, ANSCB Ltd., has urged all the general public to come forward and avail ATM services and other banking facilities of the bank, so that no one can left behind under Financial Inclusion.
Smti. Archana Singh, General Manager, NABARD, Port Blair in her keynote address urged all the general public of the area to come forward and avail the benefits of Mobile Demo Van with ATM services of the bank and informed all the gathering that earlier 15 villages availing only 01 No. ATM services at Car Nicobar, this will help to render all the commons covering large areas and also urged to enroll under Social Security Schemes.
Shri. John Levi, Director, ANSCB Ltd., congratulates the bank for their milestone and rendering their services at Car Nicobar which will benefit the common people residing at far areas.
The Chief Guest, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Hon’ble Member of Parliament in his keynote address expressed his whole heart gratitude to NABARD, R.O Port Blair for extending financial support for procurement of Mobile Dema Van to the tribal community of Car Nicobar and also urged all people to come forward and avail the benefit of banking services with ANStCB Ltd. The Mobile van will go door to door to render their services, also the bank will bring all the latest technology Upgradation for the benefit of the tribal people as soon as become available.
