Port Blair, July 16: With a vision to create a chess culture & community that enriches lives in the islands, Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) conducted Free Chess classes for the inmates of Sevaniketan, Dairy Farm, today in Sevaniketan premises. Around 30 children participated in the training programme with great enthusiasm.
Mr. Mangat Ram, secretary Sevaniketan Dairy Farm, inaugurated the chess training classes by making the first move on the chess board in presence of Mr. Chakraborty, manager, Sevaniketan, members from Sevaniketan & chess association.
FIDE Instructor, Mr. B Neelaiah is conducting the training classes which will be held every Sunday exclusively for the children of Sevaniketan free of cost. These classes will be held for children in two categories, basic and intermediate.
