Port Blair, July 12: The ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker and Pradesh Youth Congress President Ms. Diksha Dular along with Chairman Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey and Tribal Leaders of Car Nicobar including Secretary, Tribal Council Mr. Martin Luther, Deputy Vice Chairman, Tribal Council Mr. John Levi and First Captain of Big Lapathy Village Mr. Manuah Thomas met AICC President Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge at his office and discussed various measures for further strengthening the party in the A&N Islands.
The ANTCC leaders apprised him of the political situation in A&N Islands and ongoing organizational activities of the party. They had a detailed discussion over the wide range of issues concerning people of A&N Islands especially the tribal community.
ANTCC leaders also briefed Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge about the socio-political developments in A&N Islands, especially rising unemployment, lack of development and other issues of public importance.
Mr. Kharge appreciated the ANTCC and its cadres for their struggle and commitment to fight against the divisive forces in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
