Port Blair, July 12: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) President Mr. Rangalal Halder and Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker, accompanied by Pradesh Youth Congress President Ms. Diksha Dular, Chairman Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Secretary, Car Nicobar Tribal Council Mr. Martin Luther, Deputy Vice Chairman, Tribal Council Mr. John Levi and First Captain of Big Lapathy Village Mr. Manuah Thomas made a courtesy call to AICC General Secretary (Organization) Mr. K.C Venugopal in the latter’s office in New Delhi.
The delegation briefed him about the organizational activities in A&N Islands and its outcome. They also discussed several issues concerning the tribal community of A&N Islands.
Having given a patient hearing to the ANTCC leaders, Mr. Venugopal gave them valuable tips on organizational matters, especially to strengthen the party’s base in the tribal dominated constituencies. The ANTCC leaders promised to continue their efforts in this direction.
Mr. Venugopal expressed confidence in ANTCC for reviving the Congress Party with their organizational initiatives.
