Port Blair, July 09: The Freshwater Fish Seed Farm at Nayagaon of the Department of Fisheries, A & N Administration has produced freshwater fish seeds of Indian Major Carps (IMC) and now, the seeds are ready for distribution among interested fish farmers the Gram Panchayat Sippighat, Guptapara, Wandoor and Humfrygunj under South Andaman district. The fish seeds will be distributed as per the schedule given below:

Interested fish farmers have been requested to collect the freshwater fish seeds from the place of distribution. The cost of each oxygenated packet of fry seized fish seed is Rs. 135/- and the payment may be made on the spot.
