Port Blair, June 13: At a simple function held in the conference hall of the Port Blair Municipal Council, the Chairman Human Rights Commission Tamil Nadu and A&N Islands Justice (Rtd) Mr. S. Bhaskaran interacted with the elected representatives and officials of the Port Blair Municipal Council. At the outset Mrs. S.Selvi, Chairperson Port Blair Municipal welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the elected representatives to the Chairman Human Rights Commission.
Dr. Vijay Kartikeyan(IAS) ,Secretary Human Rights Commission ,Dr. T.Elangovan (Chairman ABI Group of Companies) Mr. Surrendra Pralladhka (President ACCI) and Mr. Tanveer Singh (Vice President ACCI) were also present during the interaction. A brief discussion over Human Rights and its violation were discussed during the interface. The elected representatives also welcomed and expressed appreciation to the dignitaries for sharing their valuable time and knowledge with them.
