Port Blair, Jan 04: A meeting of District Planning Committee for South Andaman will be held from 9th to 11th January, 2013 in the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad South Andaman to deliberated over the draft District Plan proposals formulated by Govt. departments under A & N Administration and Panchayat Raj Institution in South Andaman District (including Campbell Bay) for incorporation in Annual Plan (2013-14).
The Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad South Andaman (Chairman, DPC, South Andaman) Smti. Abala Samaddar will preside over the meeting which will be attended by the members of the DPC, Member of Parliament, A & N Islands, Chairperson with seventeen elected Municipal Council members from PBMC, fourteen elected Zilla Parishad members, Principal Secretaries / Secretaries (Planning/Finance/Panchayat), Special Invitees i.e. Deputy Commissioner, all Pramukhs of Panchayat Samities under South Andaman District, Chief Executive Officer (Ex-Officio Secretary, DPC), Zilla Parishad South Andaman and Heads of the Plan implementing departments with officials under A & N Administration.
