
Port Blair, June 06: As part of its youth empowerment programme, the TSG Foundation on Monday evening inaugurated a free coaching class at Parnashala Panchayat, Rangat.
The inauguration was done by the Chairman of TSG Foundation Mr. TSG Bhasker in the presence of Pramukh, Rangat Ms. Seeta Majhi and several other PRI Members.
The class was launched to impart coaching and guidance among youths for MTS & Other Group C recruitment exams. The programme is designed to benefit the educated unemployed youths who belong to low income groups and underprivileged sections of the society to make them self reliant and self sustainable.
Mr. Bhasker in his address called upon the youths to grab the opportunity. He reminded the students that they are not inferior to anybody but required discipline and hard work to succeed in life.
“We as elders can only show you the path, but it is up to you to walk that path. I hope to see our boys and girls of Rangat cracking the Group C exams in good numbers in near future,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Majhi lauded the efforts of TSG Foundation in reaching out to the needy students and rural youths of A&N Islands.
Motivational Speaker Mr. Sebastian Tirkey gave a brief detail on the history and achievements of TSG Foundation while Social Worker Mr. Devan Rao also spoke on the occasion.
Later, study materials were also distributed among the students of the coaching class.
