Port Blair, Jan 03: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) Bhopinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM has sanctioned one lakh seventy five thousand rupees from LG’s Relief Fund for the treatment of three patients in mainland.
Seventy five thousand rupees has been sanctioned to Mr. LK Chatterjee, who is suffering from Carcinoma Gall Bladder with metastasis with obstructive jaundice and fifty thousand each to Mr. Parimal Das and Mr. Ashim Bacher.
Mr. Parimal Das is suffering from Disc Prolapose L4, L5 Calcified while Mr. Ashim Bacher is suffering from multiple fracture of anterior cranium with bulging of brain through the defect.
Mr. Ashim Bacher is the resident of Mayabunder and his annual family income from all sources is approximately 18,000 rupees per annum. The Member of Parliament, Mr. B.P. Ray had requested for sanctioning the ex-gratia to Mr. Ashim Bacher.
Mr. LK Chatterjee is the resident of Rangat and his annual family income from all sources is approximately 11,000 rupees per annum while Mr. Parimal Das is the resident of Diglipur and his annual family income from all sources is approximately 12,000 rupees per annum. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee had requested for sanctioning the ex-gratia to Mr. LK Charterjee and Mr. Parimal Das.
