Port Blair, May 24: A wonderful motivational session was organized at the Industrial Training Institute, Dollygunj today by Pankh Andaman NGO in collaboration with ITI. About 140 students interacted for nearly two and half hours and were very inquisitive about various philosophies of life.
The first session was conducted by Pankh Andaman NGO founder president Mrs. Komal Anand who is a renowned social worker and has conducted various such programs in orphanages and schools throughout the islands and Delhi. Mrs. Anand stressed the importance of speaking positively and connecting our day to day behavior in shaping our personality. She also motivated the students to give up bad habits that are destructive and that may seem attractive now but would harm them in the long run.
The second session was by Samhita Veda Acharya, Happiness Coach. Ms. Acharya, led the students into a guided meditation to make them realize the importance of gratitude in their lives. She also helped them understand how to formulate action plans to achieve goals in life and how to prioritize one’s happiness while also taking care of near and dear ones.
A concluding session was conducted by Swamiji, Chinmaya Mission who told a beautiful story to the students which elaborated how whatever happens, happens for good.
The motivational workshop was conducted under the aegis of Principal and Deputy Apprentice Advisor, ITI, Mr. Venketesh Ch and Mr. Shakeel.
