Port Blair, May 14: With a view to promote and preserve the traditional culture of the Islands, the Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism (IP&T) will be organizing competitions on the theme ‘Andaman Traditional Headgears’ making. The first competition is regarding design/poster making based on the theme and the entries for participating in the competition can be sent through email: andamantourism.design@gmail.com .
The second competition will be on ‘Handmade traditional headgear’. The headgear made by the participants has to be sent either in person or through post to the Office of the Directorate of IP&T, A&N Administration, Kamraj Road, Port Blair, 744101. The participants can send their entries to email id: andamantourism.handmade@gmail.com. The competition is open for all and the last date for receiving entries for both the competition is May 22, 2023.
