Port Blair, May 11: A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted surprise checks in the Revenue Section of the Port Blair Municipal Council this morning.
Reports suggest that the CBI team initiated the raid at 9:00 AM today, reportedly focusing on the document pertaining to NOC given to hotels and building plans. Highly placed sources revealed to Andaman Sheekha that the team meticulously examined all the documents related to the revenue section and took some files along with them. However till now no official statement has been received from CBI. Further details are awaited.
