Port Blair, May 02: A small get together -cum- felicitation program was organized by Hindu Seva Sangh at “VEENA”, Wimberlygunj, on 30/04/23, to recognize and Honor the non members of Hindu Seva Sangh who have contributed immensely during the recently held Ramnavami Shobha Yatra. The Shobha Yatra which was organized by Hindu Seva Sangh, started from Sri Ram Mandir chunabhatta and concluded at Chouldari.
The SHO i/c, Bambooflat, Ograbranj and Humfrygunj and officials attached to their respective stations were felicitated for their untiring effort and cooperation for the entire rally. The Pradhan & PRI members of St. Gunj, Ferrargunj and Chouldari were felicitated for their contributions in different ways to the participants of the Shobhayatra. Mr. Chittaranjan Chowdhary, Prop. AAJA Ice Cream, Mr. Sarvananan of PLA Restaurant, Chouldari, Mr. Balasubramanium , Prop. Dream Dzyner, Mr. Lagnesh Kumar, Prop. Equator Films were also felicitated. Mr. A. Ummer , ZP member Wimberlygunj, Mr. P. Ummer , ZP member Mannarghat, Mr. O. Bashir, Ex Pradhan & Social Worker, Mr. Denis Giles, Chief Editor, Andaman Chronicle, Mr. Sanjib Kumar Roy, Chief Editor, Andaman Sheekha, Ms. Roopa Lall, Chief Editor, Nation Vision, Mr. Yameen , Reporter and Deepika Soni, Cameraperson, News Andaman 24×7, Mr. Rakeshwar Lall, President HRS , Mr. D. N. Madhu, President, RHS, were also honored for their efforts and contributions in conducting the mega Shobha Yatra.
The program began with Mr. Ganesh Vandana by Mrs. Shine & Mrs. Silcy followed by a welcome speech by Mr. Vivekanand, Member, and HSS. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Abhay Kumar, Conveyor Hindu Seva Sangh. The program concluded with the gathering singing the National Anthem.
