Port Blair, Apr 28: On 27th of April 2023 a meeting was convened at Shivapuram community Hall by Gram Panchayat Shivapuram under the chairmanship of Mrs. Sapna Priya Assistant Commissioner Rangat, in presence of Pramukh Mrs. Seeta Majhi Block Development Officer Mrs. Lalitha Tigga and Pradhan Mr. Venkateswar Rao Gram Panchayat Shivapuram.
The female PRI members welcomed to the board of the meeting Mrs. Sapna Priya, BDO Mrs. Lalita Tigga and Pramukh Mrs. Seetha Majhi , after that AC Rangat and other board members lighted the lamp in continuation to which the Pradhan of gram Panchayat Shivapuram Mr. Venkateswar Rao gave a welcome speech and welcomed the Assistant Commissioner and other officials with the locals. Pradhan mentioned the achievement of the Panchayat in the last One year and one month which was explained in detail Mr. Venkateswara Rao.
AC addressed the meeting and interacted with the locals with the prime agenda of revolving around the stray cattle in which she said, she will solve the issue at the earliest possible by at her, the vote of thanks was proposed by the zilla Parishad member R. Madhavan.
Assistant commissioner visited TV Kulam to examine TV Kullan Bailey Bridge and gathered all the information about the Bailey bridge, later on she visited the PMAY site where the landslide took place. It was mentioned in front of AC that a retaining wall is required at the spot. After that she visited Panchawati’s rural road. (Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojna) where she checked the ongoing work by the Garg and Sons to which AC called the company for the hearing at her office and assured that all the matter will be taken up and will be looked at the earliest and possible.
