Port Blair, Apr 18: As part of Fire Service Week, (14th April 2023 to 20th April 2023), Community Outreach Programmes were organized to enhance Public Awareness on fire hazard and fire safety measures.
A Drawing and Painting Competition on the theme “Awareness in Fire Safety for growth of national infrastructure (AGNI)” was organized at Fire Service (HQ) along with other Fire Stations spread across A & N Islands, on 18th April, 2023.
The competition was divided into two categories, from class I to class V & from class VI to class IX. Altogether, 40 students from 10 different Schools participated in the event). Following are the list of winners at Fire Service (HQ)

Winners of the competition were felicitated by the Chief Guest Mrs. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS Dy. Inspector General of Police (L&O), in the presence of Mrs. Varsha Sharma, IPS SSP Fire, Mr. Sandeep, Dy SP Fire and other Fire Officials.
