
Campbell Bay, April 17: The inaugural session of UDAAN Scheme in virtual mode was held at Campbell Bay, Nancowry and Car Nicobar today at 12:30pm and lasted till 02:00pm.
The Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District, Mr. Manjeet IPS, addressed the participants and appreciated them for showing their interest and registering themselves in the scheme.
Mr. Manjeet IPS further briefed the candidates about the features and benefits of the scheme and requested the candidates to work hard and get successes in the upcoming recruitment examination of Andaman and Nicobar Police.
Later the SDPO Campbell Bay, Mr. Brij Mohan Meena briefly explained to the candidates about the packages on studies for the recruitment examination.
The SDPO deeply explained the process of subject-wise classes and appealed to them to attend regular classes without taking any break. The SDPO finally requested the candidates not to miss such opportunities.
Altogether 75 candidates attended the inaugural function.
The Station House Officer of Campbell Bay, Sub-Inspector Deepak Mukherjee, Sub-Inspector G Mohan Rao, SHO Nancowry and Inspector Sahil Shamsuddin, In-charge, SHO Car Nicobar took ample of initiatives by campaigning to bring in the aspiring candidates into this platform.
