Port Blair, Apr 16: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has sanctioned Rs.18,00,000 (Eighteen Lakhs Rupees) for the Installation of (LED) Flood lights and Construction of a multipurpose stage at Forest Playground of Oralkatcha, Baratang, for development of sports and games in the region.
The Member of Parliament recently handed over the sanction letter to the Zilla Parishad Member of Baratang, Mr. R Alager Swami.
There were huge demands from the residents of Baratang Island, especially youths for installation of LED Flood lights and construction of a multipurpose stage at the Forest Playground of Oralkatcha, Baratang Island.
