Port Blair, Mar 13: To check the cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan today Naresh Chander Lal Ambassador Swachh Bharat Mission Andaman & Nicobar Islands visited Govt. Senior Secondary School Manglutaan and urged with the students and teachers to maintain cleanliness at their school premises as well as to their respective societies
Undoubtedly the school was very clean and students are well maintaining cleanliness. But it was surprising to see that due to the shortage of benches and desks for one and half years, few senior class students are sitting on the floor.
Ambassador Mr. Naresh Chander Lal met the Chief Secretary Andaman & Nicobar Administration today and brought various issues into the notice of the Chief Secretary.
The Chief Secretary reportedly assured Mr. Naresh Chander Lal to look into the matter personally and to do the needful.
