On this Fire Service Day, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the tireless efforts and hard work of the Andaman & Nicobar Fire Service.
As we observe Fire Service Day this year, the theme of “Awareness in Fire Safety for Growth of National Infrastructure (AGNI)” holds immense importance. It highlights the importance of fire safety in the development of infrastructure in our Islands and the need to generate greater awareness among the people. The A&N Fire Service has been at the forefront in promoting fire safety awareness and education. I am confident that their efforts will continue to yield positive results in the years to come.
I acknowledge the significant role played by the A&N Fire Service in responding to emergencies and providing essential services to the community in times of need. I am happy to note that the A&N Fire Service has attended 223 Fire Calls and 587 Special Service Calls in the past year, serving the community with utmost dedication. The brave men of our Fire Service have displayed exceptional commitment, selfless service and professionalism in ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of these Islands.
Once again, I express my sincere gratitude to the personnel of the Andaman & Nicobar Fire Service for their dedication, hard work and sacrifice. We are proud of their accomplishments and wish them continued success in service to our great nation.
