Port Blair, 09 April: The Andaman & Nicobar Media Federation (ANMF) have deeply condole the sad and untimely demise of Mr. Samir Dey (44 yrs), R/o Prem Nagar, Port Blair, who breathed his last at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair in the morning 8.20 am today. In his media career, he served in The Daily Telegrams for several years, later served in Echo of India as Sub-Editor, and then became Editor. He is well known for his excellent writing skills and professionalism in journalism. He will always be remembered by the media fraternity for his mature, calm and balanced approach. The ANMF prays to the Almighty to give eternal peace to his soul and give courage and strength to his family members to bear the irreparable loss. The Last rituals of Late Samir Dey will be carried out from his house at 01.30 pm tomorrow (10/04/2023).
