Port Blair, Apr 09: The Daily Newspaper Association (DNA) has mourned the demise of Mr. Samir Dey, who died on Sunday at GB Pant Hospital. Mr. Samir died due to illness as was suffering from mouth cancer.
Samir was associated with various local print media and was known for writing flair. He was an efficient and thorough journalist with no interests but news. “Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of young journalist Samir. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, said Mr. Ganeshan, President of DNA.
