Port Blair, Dec 27: The President and Management of Gurudwara Dr. Singh have expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Parkash Singh Badal for announcing financial help during his visit to Port Blair on 1st and 2nd August, 2012, to the management of Gurudwara /Khalsa Public School for the development of infrastructural facilities to establish a Girls College at Port Blair.
The Chief Minister has handed over the cheque to the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands during his recent visit to Chandigarh. The Lt. Governor, immediately after reaching Port Blair, called Mr. Hargobind Pal Singh, President Gurudwara Dr.Diwan Singh and handed over the cheque for early utilization of the funds. His Excellency also assured the President for help in case of any difficulty.
The President and Management Committees of Gurudwara Dr.Diwan Singh and Khalsa Public School thanked the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands, for for taking the pain to bring the cheque and deliver the same to the management.
