Port Blair, Mar 24: In a letter addressed to Lt Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Port Blair Mr. Angshuman Roy State Youth President Hindu Rashtra Shakti Andaman and Nicobar Islands said that, the recently Education department release some contractual vacancy for Teachers (approx 500). But, PMO Official tweeted on 14 June 2022 that PM @narendramodi reviewed the status of Human Resources in all departments and ministries and instructed that recruitment of 10 lakh people be done by the Government in mission mode in the next 1.5 years.
He also said that filling up of vacant post on contractual basis is against the higher authority direction. The data show that every year 60 students from DIET Garacharma and more than 100 from TGCE completed their course, some students got seats in Bhopal and in others state from UT Administration to complete their course and bound to signed agreement that after completing of the B. Of course they have to work in the UT department. Further, many teacher retired, expired and promoted, its show that number of vacancy increase.
He further stated that, in private sector the monthly salary of teacher not more than 10,000/ per month with a two month break. The Hindu Rashtra Shakti team requests Lt Governor to give direction to the concerned department to fill-up all vacant post (for islander) before June 2023 for a new academic session.
