Port Blair, Mar 19: The contractual employees of the afloat and Dockyard section of DSS on Saturday met Mr. TSG Bhasker and highlighted their grievances regarding regularization of employment.
Mr. Bhasker gave a patient hearing to their grievances and assured to take up the matter with the Director of Shipping Services immediately.
Further, he said that he is well aware of the unemployment issue rising in the Islands and that he is committed to providing 100% job reservation for Islanders and timely regularization of contractual employee
