Port Blair, Mar 15: On 14th March 2023, a team of PRIs comprising the Pradhan GP Swadesh, The Pramukh, Mayabunder, the ZPM Harinagar constituency, PSM Harinagar and the prominent social worker met- the EE, NACD, APWD, Mayabunder, the DC, N&M Andaman, the Tehsildar, Mayabunder regarding various public issues.
The meetings covered concerns such as the construction of PMGSY road at Duke Nagar 2, the construction of a rural road at Duke Nagar 1, and the construction of a water project and an RCC bridge at Duke Nagar 1. The team also addressed issues such as the protection of school playground and NH4 at Swadesh Nagar 1, the establishment of a medical sub-center at Duke Nagar 1, the set apart of land for electricity transformer at Duke Nagar 2, and the conversion of a footbridge into a vehicular traffic bridge at Swadesh Nagar 2. Additionally, they discussed the implementation of a new water project in Shantipur and Thoraktang villages. The team received a favorable response from the concerned authorities.
