Port Bair, Mar 09: ‘WITH YOU’ NGO celebrated International Women’s Day and its 3rd Foundation Day on March 8, 2023, at Balika Niketan, Attampahad. The team ‘WITH YOU’, along with its President Ms. V. K. Mariyam Bibi, decided to celebrate the auspicious day with the inmates of the Home.
The event began with a welcome song performed by the girls, followed by a mesmerizing dance performance. Ms. Mariyam Bibi addressed the girls and encouraged them to participate in all programs and create self-confidence to face all the challenges in life. She wished them a bright future.
The team WITH YOU distributed clothes and snacks to the inmates of the Home. They also distributed sanitary pads to the girls and threw light on the importance of keeping proper hygiene for their good health. They also met four destitute ladies who are enjoying their life in the Home.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Mariyam Bibi, President WITH YOU said, “It is an honor for us to celebrate International Women’s Day and our 3rd Foundation Day with these wonderful girls. We believe in empowering women and supporting them in every aspect of their lives. We will continue to work towards creating a better and brighter future for them.” The event was a huge success, and everyone enjoyed the festivities.
