Port Blair, Mar 03: Actor Anusheel Chakrabarty,29 years old,a Karate Icon and brought laurels for the Islands as well as for the Country.He is a National & International Player as he has achieved many Medals in National and International Karate Championship held in various State and various Country.For the reasons, Anusheel was awarded LT. GOVERNOR’S COMMENDATION CERTIFICATE in the year 2011 on the occasion of Republic Day for his Excellent performance in WORLD CUP KARATE held in Cape Town,South Africa on 1st and 2nd October,2010 and achieved Gold and Bronze Medal.
Actor Anusheel Chakraborty has been residing in Mumbai City and by profession an Actor in Bollywood,since the year 2017.He started his career with a Music Video released by Zee Music Company and thereafter he did another Music Video released by B4U,thereafter he did Lead Role in the Hindi Film “GANGS OF STUPID LOVERS”. One more music video is yet to be shot and the legendary singer is none other than 90s Rock Star Kumar Sanu.
The mother of Anusheel Chakraborty (Adv. Sheela Chakraborty) being a Producer, she started to finance the Short Movie namely “LUV U ZINDAGI” during the month of June –2022 at Madh Island ,Mumbai.For the reasons Casting for Artists / Actor/Actresses are required for the said Short Film and the Accused IMTIYAZ AHAMED approached Anusheel that he will cast the Junior Artists for the said Film. Other Casting Director Late Shri D.K. Shroff and Hemayat Ur Rehman both have provided Artists/Actor /Actress namely, Shri Shakti Kapoor as DADA, Smt Himani Shivpuri as DADI, Miss Kanchi singh as Heroin and Anusheel as Hero for the said Short Film.The 75% of the Shooting was completed and it has been decided to complete the remaining 25% of the Shooting in the Second Week of January,2023.
It is pertinent to mention here that the said Accused Imtiyaz Ahmed used to ask for money to Anusheel Chakrabarty frequently on the pretext that he has been facing financial hardships and helped him in many times.Moreover, the Accused Imtiyaz Ahmad used to say that : “YOU ARE LONE CHILD AND YOUR MOTHER IS A PRODUCER SO YOU HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY”.
According to Advocate Anup Chakraborty, father of Anusheel on the day of 5th /6th of January,2023 the Accused IMTIYAZ AHMED committed an offence of Kidnapping of Anusheel by pointing a Pistol on Anusheel which comes (u/s 364 (A), Extortion (u/s 386), Voluntary causing hurt (u/s 323), Criminal intimidation(506(2), Criminal act by common intention (u/s 34), and Arms act {25 and 3) and thus the Police has registered the case against IMTIYAZ AHMED vide FIR No.0018 dated 07/01/2023 at Oshiwara Police Station,Mumbai.
Narrating the story to Andaman Sheekha , Advocate Anup Chakraborty said that the prime Accused Imtiyaz Ahamad used the Vehicle Nissan Terrano being Registration No. UP32 J J 0244 for committing an offence against Actor Anusheel Chakraborty on the day of 5th/6th January,2023. That on 5th January,during the night at about 8:30 P.M,the said prime Accused, called Anusheel and desired to go for tour to Bandra West first followed by Nariman Point (Marine Drive) then to Colaba and the said Accused picked up Actor Anusheel from his residential apartment in Oshiwara,Andheri West and they went to the said places and spent thereon up to 1.00 P.M.
Thereafter, the said Accused Imtiyaz told Anusheel let’s go for collecting some amount from his friend instead of taking the sea link route he took the diversion to Eastern Express Highway all the way to Chembur Bus depot,at first Anusheel denied to go and asked him to drop him and not involve him on such personal matters.On hearing this the said Accused Imtiyaz insisted Anusheel to accompany with him as he is a friend of him and lastly Anusheel agreed to go with him.After reaching Chembur Bus Depot he stopped the said vehicle and made a phone call to his friend and asked him to come quickly with PAISA (Money).After few minutes, the said friend of the Accused Saif Kamrulhuda Siddiqui came with a blue bag pack and entered into the Vehicle and sat on the backseat of the vehicle. Thereafter the prime Accused Imtiyaz started to accelerate his vehicle in a very high speed about 80 k mph to 100 kmph.On running the Vehicle, Accused Imtiyaz asked his friend who sat on the back seat,whether he brought the PAISA (Money) or not and he replied yes brought it.
Their code word PAISA (Money) means PISTOL. The Accused heading towards outskirts of Mumbai towards Thane in between Ghatkopar and Vikhroli, Anusheel triggered that something is wrong and why is he moving in such direction,when asked Imtiyaz replied “Yahan Se Shortcut Leke Tujhe Ghar Chorr Raha Hoon,Tab Tak Tu Music Chala” Anusheel said now you slow down a little bit and he said Imtiyaz to stop the vehicle immediately, Imtiyaz made an eye signal to Saif and he unzipped the bag taking out the PISTOL from the said bag and pointed on the stomach of Anusheel and Saif said “YOU ARE KIDNAPPED” Anusheel asked Imtiyaz “Yeh Sab Kya Hai” there was no response from him ,Anusheel therefore grabbed the Pistol which was pointing on his stomach and Saif’s response “Goli Chal Jaayegi” so do not move.
Thereafter the Prime Accused Imtiyaz took the PISTOL from Saif and held in to the Actor Anusheel’s temple and told him to call his mother and demand the ransom 20 Lakhs and transfer it to the account of the Accused Imtiyaz Ahamad otherwise “TUJHE YEHI PAR THOK DUNGA AUR FEK DUNGA,SAMJHA,LUCKNOW AA JAUNGA PHIR KOI KUCH BHI UKHAD NAHI PAYEGA MERA”. On hearing this Anusheel gave a strong push and Pistol fell down on the floor of the Vehicle,as he was driving,so he was unable to pick up the Pistol again.
Thereafter,Saif tried to choke him with the Seat Belt from the back, Anusheel went back and punched him 4~5 times,Saif got a bit senseless and then Anusheel opened the door and told Imtiyaz to stop the Vehicle otherwise I will jump out of the car, Anusheel said this 2 times, but Imtiyaz was not willing to stop, by seeing this Saif telling Imtiyaz “Dekh Darawaza Khol Raha Hai, Imtiyaz Tu Gaadi Chalate Reh“ as soon Anusheel took his one step on to land on the highway road, Saif grabbed Anusheel’s shirt from behind, Anusheel fell on ground retaining Abrasion and bruises on the leg back and on his buttocks, on the running vehicle,left side door open Anusheel was floating mid air on running vehicle as he was grabbed by Accused to pull him back into the vehicle, as he couldn’t hold on and unable to do so, he literally pushed/threw Anusheel from the running car moving 45 k mph to 60 kmph and they two fled away from the spot.
For the reasons Anusheel sustained grievous injuries. Anusheel being a Karate expert he succeeded to save his life. That on 6th January,2023 Anusheel along with his mother Advocate Sheela went to the Oshiwara Police Station, Mumbai and made a complaint and the Police has registered the case under various relevant sections against the Accused IMTIYAZ AHAMAD and others.
The Police has arrested one accused on 2nd Feb,2023 and the Hon’ble Court has been pleased to send for Judicial Custody but the main mastermind Accused IMTIYAZ AHMAD fled away to Gonda,UP and for that the Mumbai Police Team also left for Uttar Pradesh to arrest him but the Police Team failed to arrest him till date as he is changing his locations continuously. This matter has also been published in the News Paper – mid –day on 09th January,2023.
Heading as – “MUMBAI 29 YEAR-OLD ACTOR ALLEGEDLY KIDNAPPED , POLICE REGISTER CASE”. And on 18thFebruary Heading as “MUMBAI : ONE HELD FOR KIDNAPPING BID ON ACTOR; KIN CLAIM OTHER ACCUSED MAKING THREATS”. And also published in local news AAP TAk (Andaman) as well as in social media.
As per details the prime and mastermind Accused IMTIYAZ AHAMAD continuously threatening Advocate Anup Chakraborty, the father of Actor Anusheel Chakrabarty by way of WhatsApp message dated 3rd Feb and Voice records dated 7th Feb,2023 wherein he threatened Advocate Anup Chakraborty to withdraw the case or delete his name from the FIR, otherwise be ready for dare consequences.
This matter has been reported to the Investigating Officer of the said case,Oshiwara Police Station, Mumbai and he advised Shri Anup Chakraborty to go to Local Police station and register Complaint for threatening and accordingly Shri Anup Chakrabortty, the father of Anusheel Chakrabarty have registered the complaint at Police Station Aberdeen, Port Blair,South Andaman on 16/02/2023 vide NCFIR No. 0030/2023 u/s -506.
The parents of Actor Anusheel Chakrabarty are by profession Advocate and both Adv Anup Chakraborty and Adv Sheela Chakraborty are also a active Member of BJP and holding the post of State Convener Sports Cell BJP and State Executive Member of BJP. Thus, the State President Shri Ajoy Bairagi, Bharatiya Janata Party accompanied with Shri M. Vinod, Vice President of BJP taken up this matter promptly before the Chief Secretary and the Chief Secretary talked with the Mumbai Police Commissioner for speedy action in arresting the Prime and Mastermind Accused Imtiyaz Ahamad and the Chief Secretary also assured that he will provide all possible support to the family of Actor Anusheel Chakraborty.
On the other side the President Ld. Advocate Mohammed Tabraiz and Secretary Ld. Advocate Rakesh Pal Govind of A & N Bar Association has taken prompt action in the matter and taken up this matter before the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police and the Director General of Police has talked with the Special Police Commissioner of Mumbai for expediting the investigation and arresting the Prime and Mastermind Accused Imtiyaz Ahamad who is absconder.
