Port Blair, Feb 17: A SpiceJet flight bound for Chennai was forced to make a return to the parking area (apron) of Port Blair Airport from the runway just before take-off today, due to some issues.
According to sources, the flight, which was scheduled to go to Chennai, went to the runway to take off at 12.40 PM but had to return to the (apron)parking area of the Airport due to some issues.
The flight was carrying a total of 183 passengers, including three infants.
Some sources said that today’s poor weather condition is probably the reason behind this incident. The incident caused a delay of more than one hour and passengers were not disembarked from the flight during this time. The flight finally took off for Chennai at 2.40 PM. Further details awaited.
