Port Blair, Feb 03: It is brought to the notice of General Public as well as the Stakeholders that A&N Administration proposes to conduct a State Level Mock Disaster Management Exercise (Tatpar- 23) in A & N Island on 09th Feb, 2023 in coordination with National Disaster Management Authority, INCOIS Hyderabad and National Disaster Response Force to assess the level of preparedness and response mechanism of the stakeholders, Nodal Officers of line. Departments/Agencies, Task Forces, QRTs and other Organizations etc
On the day of the Mock Disaster Management Exercise all communication channels will be opened for issuing warnings and/or alerts (Mock), Mock SMS alerts to all the Stakeholders, Nodal Officers of line Departments/Agencies, Task Forces, QRTS and other Organizations and tsunami sirens will also be blown as a test siren in 02 blast of 30 seconds each.
General Public is requested to be abreast of this, not to panic and cooperate during the State Level Mock Disaster Management Exercise (Tatpar-23) in A & N Island on 09th Feb, 2023. It is reiterated that the Mock Exercise will be conducted without any further notice/alert.
