Port Blair, Feb 01: NagarpalikaSwachhthaKarmachari Sangh affiliated with Andaman Nicobar Rajya KarmachariMahasangh, BMS has represented before the authorities of PBMC and submitted various grievances for the well-being of the Sanitary Workers, who are keeping this City clean and tidy.
Since August 2021,they initiated the issues of basic requirements for the working culture to all employees and preventive measures. Subsequently several correspondences were made but no action was seen on ground for redressing the issues.
It has been decided in the meeting held on 30.01.2023 that for the said demands, Nagar PalikaSwachhthaKarmachari Sangh will stage a protest in the GATE of PBMC on 10th Feb. 2023 from 3pm to 5pm. Then also if the demands were not sorted out huge protests will be planned to press our genuine demands.
