Port Blair, Jan 16: Pankh Andaman NGO has started a skill development Program in collaborationwith Social Welfare Department for the Divyang Children of old age homeFerrargunj.Based on this program on 16th January 2023 the NGO organizedvarious skill development workshops in the presence of Mr. A.KBiswas(Probation officer) Department of social welfare, Swami Shudhanad ( Chinmaya Mission) and Founder president Pankh Komal Anand along withmember Anita Majumdar.
The workshop included programs like planting pots,Crochet stitching, making jewellery with beads, embroidery. The NGO alsodonated materials for the workshop and also donated blankets for the old ageinmates.
The workshop ended followed by lunch. The NGO also stated thatthey will be organizing continuous workshops like these with differentskills in the coming future based on their skill development program.
