Diglipur, January 13: To streamline the process of Sub-Division of land and to minimize the hassles faced by the stakeholders in their respective land sub-division cases, Dr. Satyendra Singh Dursawat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder held a revenue court camp and disposed of 21 nos. of Sub-Division cases at Diglipur today.
As per report, the Deputy Commissioner along with revenue Officials were seen busy readying the sub-division cases of the people of Diglipur right from morning in the Conference Hall, Assistant Commissioner’s Office, Diglipur.
Out of 21 nos. of Sub-Division cases, 06 cases were finalized and disposed while 15 cases are required to be finalized on Monday with minor scrutinizes, the concerned RI affirmed. There were altogether 50 nos. of land sub-division cases and there will be hearing for the rest 29 cases on next Thursday or Friday (19/20-01-2023) at Diglipur itself, the Revenue Inspector further said.
Mr. Biswanath Sen, Tehsildar Diglipur, Mr. G.G. Paul, RI & RR and Patwaris and other officials from DC’s Office Mayabunder assisted the the Deputy Commissioner to dispense the cases.
The stakeholders thronged the hall in order to get their land cases heard and disposed of by the District Administrator. Each case was heard and disposed of in a cordial atmosphere.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the general public and the stakeholders told that, earlier they had to go to DC’s Office Mayabunder for the sub-division of their land but now the DC’s disposing of the sub-division of land cases at Diglipur has helped and benefited them a lot. They expressed happiness over this kind act and endeavor of the the Deputy Commissioner.
Apart from the sub-division of land cases, the the Deputy Commissioner was found interacting with the Pradhans of Gram Panchayats and other PRI Members from morning to evening and resolving the issues related to their Panchayats and constituencies, the report further said.
