Port Blair, Jan 05: A combined annual training camp for Senior Division/Senior Wing Army and Naval NCC cadets commenced at JNRM, Port Blair on 04 Jan 23. Camp Commandant Lt Col Pankaj Modgil addressed the cadets and motivated them to inculcate discipline and decision making skills in their day to day life. He reiterated the importance of these camps in fostering camaraderie and core values of Armed forces. Associate NCC Officers, Caretakers and Instructors from Army and Naval NCC were present during the ceremony.
The cadets will undergo classroom and practical training related to a wide spectrum of subjects like personality development, disaster management, health & hygiene in addition to service subjects and weapon training. On Thursday, the cadets had training and demonstration related to firefighting equipment by SI Devandar Kumar and his team.The cadets handled various firefighting equipment under their guidance.
