Port Blair, Dec 29: A viral video showing a person brutally attacking an employee of ANIIDCO petrol pump shocked the entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. According to details the attacker reportedly jumped the line of ANIIDCO Petrol Pump for fuel and despite getting fuel he started attacking the employee of the petrol pump, when he asked him to follow the line next time.
The video showed the accused attacking the employee mercilessly while many other co-workers of the petrol pump stood as mute spectators. Later the victim was shifted to hospital and a formal complaint was made.
The Andaman and Nicobar Police taking swift action registered an FIR in this regard at PS Aberdeen. Meanwhile, the SP of South Andaman today said in a tweet “FIR registered on the complaint of the person who was physically assaulted at petrol pump, Goalghar. The accused has been identified and will be nabbed soon.”
