Port Blair, Dec 23: On 23rd December morning at 11.00 am, delegates of Andaman Nicobar Rajya KaramchariMahasangh (ANRKM) had met Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State ofFisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying at Circuit House, Port Blair, inthe presence of Mr.Vishall Jolly,National Executive Member BJP, and Mr. Ram Das, General Secretary BJP, Mr.JijithRekh,State Spokesperson forBJP.
The President ANRKMS, Mr. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, welcomed Dr. L. Murugan withflowers, and the General Secretary Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh(BMS), Mr.Sunil Gosh presented the issues of BMS. After that, the members ofaffiliated associations of ANRKMS elaborately explained their issues andgrievances pertaining to service in front of the Minister.Thereafter, Mr. G. Anoop, Organizing Secretary, ANRKMS had collectivelyrepresented major issues of working class of the islands such asregularization of DRMs in all departments, regulation of 249 posts andother issues of Sanitary Worker under PBMC, Adhoc Bonus for DRMs, 100% jobreservation for Islanders, issues related to the contractual employees ofANIIMS etc.,
After observation, with a positive note, Minister Dr. L. Murugan, assured to take up the issues with appropriate authorities in the A&NAdministration and concerned Ministries for fruitful results.
The meeting ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. M. Veeranna,State President BMS.
The above meeting had raised a ray of hope for resolving the issues of allthe employees working under various departments of A&N Administration.
