Diglipur, (Khudirampur), Dec. 05: The 134th Birth Anniversary of Khudiram Bose, one of the youngest revolutionaries of India was celebrated here on 3rd Dec.
Mr. Kewal Krishna, Ex-Pradhan, Diglipur Gram Panchayat was the Chief Guest while Mr. Madhu Dutta, a venerable resident of Khudirampur village was the Guest of Honour on the occasion of this remarkable day.
As part of the program, garlanding to Khudiram Bose’s statue at 10.00 AM was first performed by Mr. Madhu Dutta and who was the constant inspiration for establishing the statue of the legendary freedom fighter Khudiram Bose in the village which was named after this great martyr.
The kids of 6 nos. of Anganwadi centres and the students of Govt. M.S. Khudirampur village participated in the Birth Anniversary of Khudiram Bose. The event was attended by Mr. Sujit Mistry Samiti Member, Ex-Samiti Member of the Khudirampur village constituency, Diglipur Panchayat, other PRI members, women, villagers and others.
Mr. Kewal Krishna welcomed the guests and spoke on the life of the martyr Khudiram Bose at length.
The statue of Khudiram Bose was erected on 9th February 2010 in the village of Khudirampur under Diglipur Gram Panchayat with the Ex-Pradhan Mr. Kewal Krishna’s utmost efforts.
