Port Blair, Nov 30: On 29-11-2022 Under the leadership of Mr.AjoyBairagi State President BJP a delegation of PRI’s including party workers Mr. S.U.Maheswar Rao member of Governing Body, National Fisheries Development Board,Hyderabad. Mr. Venkateswar Rao Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram Mr. Sujit Mistry Pradhan Gram Panchayat Nimbutala and Mr.A.T.Rao Ex Zilla Parishad member Nimbutala constituency had met with Mr.G.Sudhakar IAS, Secretary Fisheries and discuss various long pending demands of Shivapuram and Nimbu Tala Gram Panchayat under fisheries sector.
The Development of land for model fisherman village at Nimbu Tala, which was a long pending demand of Fisherman, was not implemented due to non development of land , the secretary fisheries assured the delegation to resolve the issue at an early date .
The Gram Panchayat NimbutalaMr. Sujit Mistry had raised the issue of ice plant situated at Nimbutala and other issues related of Fisherman of Rangat Bay.
Mr.Venkateswar Rao Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram has raised the issue of release of admissible subsidy to beneficent fisherman of North and Middle Andaman for construction of mechanized/motorized fishing boats under UT plan by Zilla Parishad North and Middle Andaman. The Secretary Fisheries assured the delegation to resolve the issue by forming a special committee. The secretary assured the delegation to visit North and Middle Andaman for effective implementation of central state government Schemes for the further development of North and Middle Andaman.
