Port Blair, Nov 22: As per the directions of CISF HQrs and MHA, this ASG organized thesecond tranche of Rozgar Mela under Mission Recruitment held at PortBlair for Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The chief guest for the event atPort Blair was Lieutenant Governor ADMIRAL D K JOSHI, PVSM, AVSM,YSM, NM, VSM (RETIRED). In addition, the higher officials of Andaman andNicobar administration and Andaman Nicobar Command viz Chief Secretary, A&NIslands, Additional Director General of Police, A&N Islands, Chief ofStaff, Andaman Nicobar Command, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, A&NIslands were also present. From CISF Mr. Subhash Sinha, DIG (AP E&NE) and Mr.Ravinder Kumar Singh, Sr Cmdt AP (E&NE) were present.
During the event, 03 candidates were issued an offer of appointment. Inaddition, around 400 personnel (staff of various departments, familymembers and college students from 3 colleges) participated in the event.The event was covered by Doordarshan and local media. The event wasorganized successfully which was appreciated by the chief guest as well aseveryone present at the venue.
