Port Blair, Nov 10: An unidentified dead body was spotted by Indian Navy ship Personal near the sea shore area of Shibpur, Diglipur on 05 Nov evening. Soon the information was passed to the PS Diglipur, following which the corpse was recovered by police and was shifted to Diglipur Hospital.
As per information, upper body and lower body completely damaged, might be eaten by fish, and according to dress identification, the body might be of a foreign national.
The Police registered a case in this regard and have started a further investigation.
The Andaman and Nicobar Police have given information of this dead body to otherneighbouring countries, the information further said.
