Port Blair, Nov 04: National Students Union of India State President, Mr. M. A Sajid Demands the administration for conducting a fair Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the aspiring candidates of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
In the letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Mr. Sajid Said that the Students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands were facing a huge problem in regard to the restriction by CBSE with limited Candidates in appearing for the Examination of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
He said that CBSE has arranged only One Centre in Conducting of the Exam for the overall 5000 above aspiring candidates in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
He further mentioned that CTET is conducted as on the Computer Based Test so as due to lack of adequate infrastructure it might be the reason for CBSE to restrict No. of Seats in conducting Examination in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
In addition to the same, Mr. Sajid has given his suggestion to the Chief Secretary to convinced CBSE in Conducting the Exam in an offline Mode or either to optimize enough Centre’s for conducting examination in Online mode so as more aspiring candidates can get a chance to be appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
