Port Blair, Oct 11: Residents and Tourist Vehicle Owners of Shaheed Dweep of South Andaman raised the rundown condition of the road stretch between Neil Market to Natural Bridge of Laxmanpur Beach.
As per report, the dilapidated condition of this road is causing severe inconveniences to road users. In wake of the situation, yesterday Neil Islands Tourist vehicle Association of SaheedDweep wrote a formal application to APWD and Police Department intimating that they will not be able to provide their service to the tourists and VIPs from 11th Oct 2022.
Neil Islands Tourist Vehicle Association Secretary Mr. RanajeetBasutoday told Andaman Sheekha Daily that in the last several years, residents of the Shaheed Dweep region have been facing many problems due to miserable conditions of road. Due to this reason, after consulting with the members of their association they have decided to pull out their service from 11th Oct till the road becomes motorable.
