Port Blair, Sept 14: Yet another crocodile has been captured by the Forest Department today from Aterzig Nallah of Kadamtala area of Middle Andaman.
The 3.5 mtr long crocodile was captured this morning at around 0500 hrs.
Earlier, the staff of Wildlife Division of Forest Department Kadamtala had captured a three-metre-long crocodile today from Aterzig Kona Nallah of Kadamtala area on Sept 07,2022.
As per details, the cage was installed on Sept 13 at 1900hrs by forest team, consisting of Mr. AK Singh range officer, Kadamtala, Mrr. Ravi Shankar Poddar (incharge JPT ) Kadamtala, Mr. Eswar Hemrom forest guard and 10 more mazdoors.
The cages were installed by the Forest Department following sightings of crocodiles in the area.
The crocodile was later released far away from Kadamtala area.
