Port Blair, Sept 14: Dr.NitinShakya, Assistant Commissioner / SDM Campbell bay took a note of health care facilities by visiting Chingan village Health Centre. Health Centreis functional round the clock with all the basic medicines and one health care worker. The stock of medicines was also checked. Assistant Commissioner directed the health professional to empathetically treat the patients and also screen the society of various diseases. Dr.NitinShakyatold that various health camps are being planned all over Campbell Bay to screen the public of various non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes etc. Recently,SWASTHYAPLUS – Specialist Doctor Telemedicine initiative of DistrictAdministration was highly appreciated by the local residents.
