Port Blair, Sep 14: A delegation led by Ms. V. K.Mariyambibi, Zilla Parishad Member Bambooflat along with Pradhan Hopetown, Pradhan Bambooflat -1, Samity Member Hopetown and Samity Member Bambooflat- 1 met Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Civil Supply and Shipping) on 13th September 2022 and apprised her about the difficulties faced by the general public due to irregular supply of LPG gas cylinder.
They suggested that dates of LPG gas distribution in variouspanchayats be made public as was done earlier and also ensure regularsupply to all consumers without any further delay. The delegation alsodemanded a proper inquiry into the two-boat incident that happened recently between Chatham- Bambooflat sector. The Commissioner gave a patient hearing and assured them to do the needful at the earliest.
