Port Blair, Sep 14: Under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukht Abhiyan which was launched by Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, President of India on 09th September 2022, Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi distributed the Nutritional Support- Food Baskets to TB patients at UHC Shadipur.
Mr. Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR in the presence of Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Gen. Secretary handed over the Food Basket to Dr. Lal, DTO and Senior Treatment Supervisor with the UHC Shadipur team.
Team PBGKR has given consent to provide the Food Baskets to thepatients for three years.
“We will try our best to eradicate TB from our islands at the earliestand will work towards achieving TB Mukht Bharat as our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said”, Mr. Grewal added.
