Port Blair, Sep 07: In order to promote good health, positivity and motivation among the society, the weekend karaoke musical festival by the name EUPHORIA will be starting this Saturday and Sunday at Campbell Bay fish landing jetty.
This event is an initiative of Assistant commissioner Campbell Bay Dr. Nitin Shakya along with Govind Nagar Gram Panchayat. Besides the musical activities stalls from MINI-INDIA self-help groups will also be organized to promote jobs among the residents.
Further, in order to create societal participation, a cleanliness and beautification drive is being organized on Friday to kick start the renovation of the beach. Dr. Nitin Shakya said that through such activities our motive is to move people away from drugs and alcohol addiction and to promote jobs among local residents.
