Port Blair, Sep 07: To check the cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Mr. Naresh Chander Lal, Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission, A&N Islands visited the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Garacharama and interacted with the trainee teachers as well as faculty members of the institution.
SBM Ambassador found the premises of DIET well cleaned and the garden are well maintained with fruits and medicinal plants.
The trainees presented a skit and a dance in front of Mr. Lal who is also a technical graduate of Theatre Arts.
Later, Mr. Lal visited the GSSS Garacharama also and interacted with the students. The principal of the DIET and who is also the principal of the school Mr. Sailabdeen accompanied SBM Ambassador during the visit.
