Port Blair, Sep 02: The team of Police Station Pahargaon has once again proved their efficiency and booked two persons under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 with a recovery of 550 grams of Ganja.
Credible information was received from an informer on 30th August 2022 that two persons namely M. Kavyarasan and M. Krishna Rao are having cannabis (ganja) in their possession and are planning to sell the cannabis (ganja) to a customer in the Bhatubasti area.
Immediately, a team was constituted comprising SI Mohd Rahil Islam, SI Manish Narayan, PC/2622 Suresh, PC/930 Jagdish Babu, PC/162 Santosh Kumar Yadav and PC/1737 CheriaUraon under the supervision of Inspr. Hari Narayan, SHO PS Pahargaon. The team successfully conducted a raid near Forest Check Post, Bathubasti and arrested two persons, M. Kavyarasan S/o M. Muthu Swamy (25) yrs Auto driver, R/o Bimlitan presently at CAIRI road Bhatubasti and M. Krishna Rao S/o M. Neelaiah (36) yrs Pvt worker, R/o Bhatubasti near Ganesh Temple and recovered 550 grams of Ganja from their possession following due procedure.
The entire raid took place under the supervision of Mr. Vinay Mathur, DANIPS, SDPO South Andaman.
